An expert on the development of racial identity, Dr. Beverly Tatum speaks on the provocative subject of her acclaimed 1998 book Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria? The educator and clinical psychologist is currently the ninth president of Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia.

The 2010 UC Davis Campus Community Book Project is a Campus Engagement event, which is also proudly presented under the campus Principles of Community.
